RELIGIOUS EDUCATION WORKSHOP
On Saturday August 8 th the Diocese of Tucson hosted the Diocesan Convocation for Religious Education and Youth Ministry at the Bishop Kicanas Pastoral Center in Tucson. Wanda Leikem, our parish Director of Religious Education, attended this important workshop as well as Cynthia Navarro and Francisca Olmos, catechists for our parish 1st Holy Communion / Reconciliation Sacramental Preparation classes.
This was a day for each person to deepen their relationship with Christ and to reflect on the powerful ways our Lord reveals His nearness to those who serve. We are grateful to Wanda, Cynthia, and Francisca as their ministry helps our children to
grow strong in their faith and relationship with the Lord.
God Bless you Ladies!
